Very impressive sight to capture - and well captured - not easy when he was hiding in the tree with his kill!
Did you stay longer and catch him eating his kill? Looks like if he ate it there you would have been in a good position to get some shots
looks like a Coopers Hawk to me might not be, great shots! what lens?
Hawk is a Red Shouldered Hawk..Shot with my Nikon 300mm, F2.8 with a 1.7 teleconverter (500mm)
