Hello

I got the set up for shooting the book with photographs inside and im using Canon 18-55 lens for it. I did use Canon 100mm Macro, 60mm Macro, 50mm Macro and all of them come out with pretty much same results. The only lens that worked great on it were Sigma 28-90 mm Macro Aspherical Lens and i dont have them anymore. Will anyone suggest any lens that are similar to Sigma's I used

Firstly - out of shear interest - why are you photographing the book?

Secondly - why not use a scanner to copy the pages from the book? I've used a camera in the past (kit lens nothing fancy) but only when I didn't have a scanner to do the work for me. In my (albeit limited and rough experience) the scanner is the far faster and simpler tool.

Also how are the macro lenses failing you in this endevour? I would have thought the 50 or 60mm would be ideal for this kind of copying work?
