what makes strobes diffrent then constant light like flood lights or something? I know that you can make strobes more powerful and less powerful but does a flash make a diffrent then a constant light?

they're way brighter. You can use superfast shutter speeds instead of something like 1/60...

They're not as hot...cause they aren't always on like constant lights (AKA hot lights)
