If you like it then that is all that really matters.
What is it, are you trying to show the symbolism of the cross? If so maybe you could crop tighter on the sides to get a more traditional shape. Just my two cents.

thats true i could make it look like a vertical shot

I personally love the shot even with a horz. image you can still make it out as a cross. I think if you shot it or cropped it vert. that you would lose some the figure it out for yourself quality. It would look to forced.

But thats just my opinion.

It's interesting, more abstract than anything else of course. The way I see this shot is cropped to a square.

i like it, but i agree with pursuer. either straigten it up in the frame or go for the abstract look and make it more asymmetrical. i like the use of the silhouette though - it almost seems to aid the symbolism.

like that. i might be tempted to move the verticle part of the frame more to the left or right so it's not so central, but otherwise really like it
