Photos NOT OK to edit
Well I have my first wedding to do the 18th and I need help with the lighting.
Here's the details:

Wedding ceremony outside 5:30 pm

Cocktail party inside ball roomish type place

dinner inside as well

Here's what lighting I have:

2 soft boxes
1 strobe with barndoor
2 umbrella lamps
2 30w lights
2 40w lights
Speedlite SB-900

of these what do I need to bring and should I use any outside?
Thanks for your help.

Thread Moved ---> Read THIS. :)

Setting up studio lights may not be the best option for a wedding, it seems a little too intrusive, but if you can do it, without it being in the way or being a distraction to the ceremony, then it might be worth a shot. If it's your first wedding, it might be better to just keep things simple. Depending on the light, you may need some sort of lighting, maybe just your SB-900 on or off camera.

Once you are inside for the party, anything goes (well not really, but you know what I mean). You can keep it mobile with an on-camera flash and hopefully bounce it...or you could set up lights...or a combination. Do what you are comfortable with, a wedding really isn't the time or place to be trying out techniques for the first time.

I agree lol that's why I have my "Professional" friend guiding me at the wedding. But I wanted to ask here cause she hasn't called me back yet.LOL of course its only been a few hours.
