Its the time of year to take pictures of bugs.
I have a point and shoot, so I can get some nice depth of field stuff going in in close-ups of bugs. However, I have to be really really REALLY close, like a quarter inch, so if the bug is moving, it always moves out of the tiny in-focus spot.
If I got a macro filter, would I not have to be so close and I could have a larger in-focus spot? I have tried closing up the aperture some, but it hasnt worked well.
Tips?
