Make money as a Photographer

yes you need a model release if your taking pictures of people.

I have used a slightly different technique.

Instead get some business cards printed...

This is one of many ways of earning an income from your camera.

Yup! And right you are about it going to be different styles in different areas. Nice assist, good points! Thanks!

Here's some answers to a few questions asked in PM recently:

I guess that the doggy-men you mentioned were doing their business in Nagoya, right?

Yes.

What sizes were the samples?

I dunno, I would guess 640x480 or close to that. If it were me I would do 400x300 and enlarge it to 600x400 so if they went to enlarge it again it would come apart on them. ;)

How much did they charge for the larger prints and what size were the larger prints?

Y2,000 ($20.00) And I dunno size... I assume 8x10 with a paper frame or maybe beveled matting.

What kind of clothes did they wear, meaning how did they presents themselves?

The guy with the clipboard looked a tiny bit businessy ;) But I guess most of that was haircut. The guy with the camera looked nearly homeless. :D Old levies, and a sports shirt - raggedy-frizzy uncombed hair.

Mostly I wonder about the pricing - how much can I ask for etc.

I guess Y2,500 ($25.00) per print would be max if there was no awesome sales pitch. If you're an incredible salesman you could maybe get Y5,000 ($50.00) a print - especially in better neighborhoods.
