A friend of mine was back in Montréal some time ago and stopped by the university where he learned that the photography department was getting rid of all the old film gear.
He grabbed me two MD mount lens. I finally found an adapter that works on the a-mount. Wasn't too hard to find, just had to stop procrastinating and search online...
These are of course fully manual, the aperture will be stopped down when adjusted so I have to keep this in mind when "focusing". The Peak Level function DOES work with those ! Pretty sweet !
Here they are:
First is a 135mm f3.5
Mounted:
With a test shoot. Didn't extend the hood and probably should have
The other lens is a fixed focus 50mm f3.5 macro. I've yet to figure that one out !
Seen here on its screw lid.
Looks rather funny on the camera:
No picture yet. None remotely sharp anyways !
