A friend of mine, who is a weaver in an old-fashoned way, showed me her studio the other day. After visiting, I'm quite happy the business is still afloat in today's world.

She weaves for church vestment. Occasionally, she has the order to make gowns for old-fashioned parties. I wasn't sure that I could photograph her unfinished work; fortunately I had the permission to take shots of her loom:
