Light colored (blue, green) eyes always look better close up in photos. Cool pic. It's been done to death, but what hasn't?

I made an eye close-up thread that's in the 'photo themes' section, should put it up there. It looks better than the one I took when I first got my camera.

The first one, well - it just looks like a crop out of a larger picture...
(Is it just me, or do the reflections in your eye look sharper than the iris?)

The one of your whole face is much more interesting. I'm not going to C&C it to death, because I know you just posted it to show where the first one came from, but it is the better picture - IMO.
