So then i was in my garden today and decided to take a crack at shooting a HDR image. I had only previously read up about it while reading a photography magazine, so wasn't bursting with knowledge on it, but who is when they are learning new things. Off i went to get my EOS 450D and tripod, set them up and heres what i got.

So here are my 3 original exposures:

2.

With these 3 exposures, i put them into photomatix and produced this:

Let me know what you think, thanks Jon

Good example of HDR actually. Next time you may want to choose a better subject but good example of why to use HDR. Your original normal exposure has areas where there is no detail visable be from shadow or blown out areas . The other two images resolve the issues of the shadows and the blown out areas. The HDR shows all of the detail.

Thanks for the positive comment, yeah i was stuck in the house all day so it was the only thing i thought would work properly. Planning on getting some city shot's tomorrow, hopefully they will work out, if they do then i will put them on here for everyone to see. Thanks again for the comments :)
