name collage help

Hey Everyone! I was wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice on how this is done. I am also wondering, if it's done with a program such as Photoshop, could someone tell me how to do it? It would be appreciated! Thanks!


Here's two examples of what I am talking about:

 

[Digital Matt]

In photoshop, make your text in one document. Open the image you want to use in another, and select all, copy. Then in your other document, hold ctrl and click the text layer to make a selection, and go to edit, paste into. This will make a layer above the text with the picture, masked off to reveal the shape of the text.
