The nativity scene in our church still does not have Maria, Joseph and Baby Jesus in it. Only the stable and the pastures, the sheep and the shephards. The "main characters" will only be added on Christmas Eve. For the time for the baby to arrive has not come yet. We are still waiting during Advent.

2 Christmas' ago, when we were packing up the nativity set my daughter (then 4) asked me if we only believed in Jesus at Christmas time. Well, ever since that day, our nativity stays up year round. One of my prouder moments w/ my daughter.:lovey:
