Need help loading Diana F+ w/ 35mm back

Hello All
I got a Diana F+ with the 35mm back for Christmas. This thing will ABSOLUTELY NOT ADVANCE THE FILM ON THE SPOOL with the 35mm back on. It advances just fine with the "stock" 120mm back.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I could possibly be doing wrong??

There are a couple of other parts that help the 35mm wind onto the spool and hold the cartridge in place. Do you have those parts also? I have a Yashica 635 and there are extension posts for the cartridge and a different take-up spool for the wind roll plus I have a mask and pressure plate for the 35mm film.
