You may have noticed in another thread that I'm having trouble with my monitor and it's colour.

Doing a bit of asking around with friends and they say the best thing to do is get a calibrator for the monitor. Only that costs $200 or something?

What other options are there? I googled and checked PS help and it said to get Adobe Gamma? Where would I get that? And is it actually any good?

    Help, I'm retarded and I need...help.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Try here.
    http://epaperpress.com/monitorcal/
There's a link to some free software - there's probably more around if you look.
I don't know how good the software is - I use Mac's and they come with monitor calibration software built in.

I have Pantone's ColorVision and love it. Haven't lost any more hair over my monitor since. Best money I've spent.
