New from New jersey!!!

Whats up TPF well im going to start off and say im from Nj and ive been here all my life,Decided to get into photography this year because i like having new hobbys and i want to major this as my future.I am 16 years old and i Shoot a Canon PowerShot A510/3.2 mega pixels and i plan to master this camera until i can,i believe that people shouldent have a 3000$ camera unless they know how to use it because i seen some guys buy a 4000$ camera and the photos come out **** when you can still buy a cheap camera and take awsome photos.i also believe that a good photographer can take a really good picture with any camera giving to him weather its a 10$ disposable or 2000$ one..well here are some pictures i took with my camera.enjoy!

I am really enjoying photos 5 and 6. Color wise they are better as well as the composition. I see what you are trying to do with 2,3, and 4 but i dont think the flash is working for you. You might want to diffuse or bounce the flash, you'll get a much better result. Keep shooting!

I also like 5 & 6 the best for similar reasons. However I also like the macro approach you're taking in the first 4. I agree with jb about the harshness of the flash. Also I think the 4th picture is the weakest of the batch and shouldn't be up with the rest of them. Good first attempts and keep at it.
