My name is Joey. I hope to talk with all of you more in depth.

Professional-wise, the only thing I shoot is band promo's and live music photo's. Ive been shooting around for about 7 years, but have only been in the SLR world for about 3. My first (SLR) camera was a Pentax K100D, but I tried a friends Nikon and Ive been hooked ever since.

I just joined the navy and I hope to eventually get a job as a photographer for them. Until then, I get free transit around the world, and bringing a camera aboard isn't illegal, ya know!

Lately Ive been working on brushing up my portrait work. I am getting better. Let me know what you think!

Welcome to TPF, and congrats on the new 'life' you've started as a navy cadet, with career aspirations of landing a photographer's assignment with them. I'll let someone with more expertise comment on your portraits. Do you have any of your band pics to share?

    Wicked photo's.

Really like the angle's of the band shots. Really shows the energy of the band and the crowd.

    Also like the portraits.

    Nice work! Keep posting.
