Have been reading a lot on the forum over past few days and will say a Hugh thanks to a lot of people with some great advice, I am looking to purchase a new lense for my kit, and looking at my lenses F stops ( 3.5 and 4 ), have been reading a lot with respect to f-2.8 and f-1.8.
I find myself asking what lense to purchase, not just for f stop & cost, but range, whether a fixed lens say the Canon 50mm f-2.8, or a zoom the canon 70-200mm f-2.8, as I am looking at portrait photography.
I dont think I will have the funds to meet the f-1.8, but if you think this would be more worth saving for then I will..
Also I dont want to get a lens that will only be usefull for portrait, at the mo I have 18-55mm f 3.5, 28-80mm f 3.5-5.6, and a 70 - 300mm f 4-5.6, and would consider adding the same length if the f stop would be an advantage.
Thanks
Steve
