I am finding myself more and more amazed by this fellow everyday. I probably have not left him alone for a night since I bought him last weekend. He has even gave me a few bites letting me know once he is tired oh photo- time.

I am also enjoying learning about a new animal through caresheets and manuels.

So much more to leopard geckos......

he gets mad....

oh my gosh that little thing is the cutest animal ever!!!
i love picture 2, he looks so adorable.
nice pics!

Yep photo 2 definatly has character to it! :)

Neat little critter. Using a ring flash? I can see a circular flash reflection in his eyes on one of the shots.

Yes I am using the canon ringflash.
Some like the reflection in the eye, but for me personally I could do without it and it is often too hard to remove with post processing.

Thanks for all the comments

are you using some sort of diffuser with the ringflash?
that might lessen the impact of the ring on eyes a little

I have attempted to find diffusers but was told by the dummies at Vistek the flash ring is designed with diffusers?

I suppose I could play with the settings more , but usually I shoot 4:1 or 8:1
A-b light ratio to avoid flat lighting. that is why the one glares brighter then the other

I think they have some diffusion built in - but I am sure some round here have made some custom diffusers for the ringflash
