New to photography.

Hi everyone. My name is Savannah and I'm currently apprenticing in a salon to become a cosmetologist but photography is another big interest. It's a hobby for me but I'd like to get more into in the future so here's a good way to start. : )

I have to admit, this is my first joining of any sort of forum!

Forums are great. I'd suggest that you do a bit of reading at first, just so you don't go asking a bunch of questions that have been asked a hundred times before. Use the search feature for specific things that you want to learn about. Also, use Google to look up some things as well.
Then when you have a question to ask the forum, you will have some background knowledge. That is a lot better than just being lazy and asking every little thing that pops into your head. When we can see that someone is putting in some effort, we tend to put more effort into helping them.
