This was my first attempt with selective coloring, I realize there are mixed views on this process, it was more for fun. Shot with

Tokina 300mm 2.8

Cool. I've been playing around with selective coloring myself. I'm doing my living room in these types of pics of the family. I really like the effect when its' done well. It can get gimmicky quicly, but I think you pulled it off here. Nice shot, too.

Your selective colouring here gives the photo a quite distince 3-D feel.
I like that a lot!!!

Thanks for the comments guys. I think using selective color is good as long as it draws your attention to the main subject and not away from. I thought this was a good shot to use it on.

it looks cool. this way the player pops up from the picture. I'm sure that when the pic was in full colours, the player was lost somewhere... same situation when it was all black and white.

Nice and sharp too I might add. Looks great

Were you on the field for this shot?

Oh, I wish I was on the field. I was behind security, cheerleeders, officials, and Photographers that were on the field. I was in the front row though. Even there, you have to crop out a lot of crap in front of you.

Thanks for the comments.
