hey everyone i was looking into buying the nikon 50mm 1.4d older model lens. i was wondering if it will auto focus on my Nikon D7000 camera. if someone can please help me out this thank you so much.

Yes
The AF-D , and older AF lenses require an"in-body" focusing motor, which is found on the d70, d90, d7000, d7100, full frames and a few others.

Thus it will focus on the d7000
What you won't get compared to the 50/1.4G lens is focus override (you grab the focus ring and change focus) without having to flip the on-body switch to turn it into a MF lens.
.
Most of my lenses are AF-D screw focus lenses. Called that because on the body metal lens mount is a little pin that you can push in with your finger. The top of it is flat like a bladed screwdriver. This engages with the opposite part on the lens to drive the focus gearing in the lens.
