Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Well I was going to get the Nikon D60 for my starter camera but I've now learned that I can get 50% off ANY Olympus camera, so I'll need suggestions. I can spend up to 700 or so USD. This'll be my first dSLR so I need help, should I switch to Olympus, if so, any recommended models for a beginner, or recommended lenses?

Thanks,

James.

Personally, I don't care for the 4/3rds system.

Save your money and buy the excellent D40

Consider the superior SB400 with the money you saved by not buying the D60. It's small and fits in your pocket.

Good Luck!

Yea, this isn't going to get old.

I would go with the D60, or a refurbished D80 if for no other reason than the used goods market is more robust in Nikons favor, allowing you to take advantage of Craigslist and eBay deals.

i figured this routine would have dried up over the weekend.

I would have to say save up and go with the D90, it is so far ahead in performance.
