Nikon mount tight/loose

Do you guys find there to be slight "wiggle" room for your lenses on your DSLR mount? Or should most cameras/lenses be uniformly tight with eachother at the mount?

Mine are all nice and tight, even the 37 year old Nikkormat.

I tried a new Nikon lens and an older non Nikon lens and each had a tiny little bit of play once they were seated. Very small, perhaps a millimeter or 16th or 32nd of an inch.
