My sister's new (used) baby grand piano. I thought it was a pretty cool subject.

I gave this one a 'Craquelure' finish:

Messin around with contrast and got this (I think it's pretty cool personally):

Let me know what you think! I'm still somewhat of a photography novice, so critique away if you wish.

The bottom one is very cool. Nice.
There are a few hot pixels in the the black I would clone out.

thanks guys. yeah allen i'll clone those out eventually.

i'm just starting to experiment with photoshop...what do yall think of the color tones? did i do ok tweaking them?

The inside of a piano is a wonderful motif, I think, and I like how you framed it. It is fun to play with photo post processing programmes, isn't it?

I was going to ask why the fourth photo is so grainy, and today I see your additional information, i.e. that you put some filter on it. Nice effect, too. And yes, the hard contrasts in your last, the b+w version, is interesting, too.

It's fun to thus play around with ones photos, isn't it?
And apparently your dad let you have his camera for these and you did not have to fall back onto your phone camera ;).
