Picassa alternative?

I use lightroom and Photoshop for my main edits for raw files.

I generally save my edits to folders that picassa sees, so it's easy to share jpegs.

My computer glithed and after its sorted Picassa is gone forever.

Can anyone recommend an alternative. I don't want Google photos or anything that syncs with anything, just a simple jpeg organizer that allows emailing photos simple, maybe allowing simple edits, thanks

I would think the simplest would be to use Lightroom to organize and just email them out from your hard drive. They won't be online, but you already use LR.

I also notice you have Flickr, so you can share from there, as well.

Thanks snowbear. I set up email from lightroom this evening, so I was kinda sorted. I managed to download Picasa setup from a site that set it up fine but tried to get me to install all types of other stuff in the process. After a few decline tabs I had Picasa up and running again, but handily can now use lightroom as a direct option also
