I have just started using Pixmantic rawshooter essentials for my raw editing, to which I think is great.

My question is, has anyone else noticed the quality of the image view from the raw editor as opposed to the same view downloaded into PS even in 16bit mode? I was wondering why PS looks so muddy, am I doing something wrong?

Would be hard to post a screen shot and a PS for comparison as both would probably look the same.

I really noticed a difference in a picture that had fine textures in the rock. In the pixmantec view the colors and textures were sharp and then opening the same photo saved as a 16bit tiff the texture was almost lost and the color was not as brilliant. I would not have thought there to be such a difference between raw and tiff files, but I guess there is..

I haven't noticed anything like that. Can you maybe just crop out the part were it's most obvious from the 2 screen shots?
