The manual will probably say not to use it below freezing temperature....but I've used mine in much, much colder weather. 43F will be fine.
There are a few issues to be aware of. 1) The batteries will die much faster in the cold...so keep a spare close to your body. 2) If you bring a cold camera from a cold & dry environment into a warm & humid environment (outdoors to indoors)...condensation will form inside and outside the camera & gear. To avoid this...when you come in, put the camera into a bag (camera bag, plastic bag etc.)...and let it warm up gradually.
