My Pentax IR remote apparently has a failing battery. Seems that despite being able to open the case, they attached the battery so that it can't be removed. :BangHead:

I refuse to buy another one, of the same crappy design, so anyone know of a universal model that works with Pentax?

This is the Pentax version of the one I use. It's actually RF vice IR, so it has a much longer range, and doesn't require line-of-sight. It has an intervalometer, and a bunch of other quasi-useful features.
