yea, if you're stayin on crop, you have one of the better lenses. The Canon EF-S 10-22 would be better, IMO, but it will lack the weather sealing of any L lens.

[edit] Just wanted to make note - if you are looking for that 'fish eye' effect, the 10-22 will NOT give it.

If you are looking for a real fish eye style, and don't mind manual focus, check out the Rokinon 8 MM fish eye. can generally be found for $230 if you're at all patient.
