    Your images are NOT OK to edit. Can't give you much help under that restriction. :confused:

    Honestly, I think that is an instance where a re-shoot would really be the most beneficial if you can. You're right, the model's face is lost in shadow. A reflector would have been great in this instance as a fill light.

    That said, this is a quick edit in Lightroom:
    - Fill light to 100
    - Clarity to 100
    - Exposure adjustment brush to brighten face
    - Desaturation adjustment brush to remove the unnaturally red skin tones caused by the Fill light boost

    Even with that, a re-shoot will produce WAY better results than my quick hack at it or a concerted post-processing effort by a skilled individual.

    brightening the shot has only given the lady a 5 o'clock shadow look ... maybe re-shoot ?

    Agreed. Re-shoot with a reflector to fill in her face and the right side of the image.
