Number 1 is a very good photo Moni, you've captured your expression very well, you look like you are staring straight into my eyes, from my monitor.

#2 is a bit overeposed IMO, it has a few white spots.

I like the tight crop on the top of #2, but there is too much space at the bottom. Crop the bottom up to under your mouth, so that the lips are about as far from the bottom edge as the eyes are from the top edge.

The second image is more dramatic, but as it was said, a little crop would help.
