selling photos online

Hello,

I wanted some comments and views on selling photo images on line. I run a site for people to sell any type of download with secure payment and auto redirection to the full file. So far it is very popular with people selling video clips. I want to know if people sell their photos as images online and what there views are. I hope you can help as your input would be great.

I'm sure that there are people who are able to see images on-line but I haven't heard of many who are successful at it. I know a photographer who sells photos at art & craft fairs, and also has a web site. Plenty of sales at the fair, none from the web site.

A person would probably be better off selling images through a Stock Photography house.
