GREAT GREAT GREAT
With luck like this....go give the lottery a shot!!!

Great as always!

I'm impressed again raymond, these are fantastic

LOVE EM ALL! Can't get over how clear the eye of the owl is, even in the far away shots. How awesome is the one of the owl on the fencepost?! Well done.

Raymond,
After viewing your website I have concluded luck had very little to
do with these shots. Excellent work.

Thanks guys!! It sure was a blast standing in this field, and these wee bird flying all around me. They are small and very fast., and bolt out of trees like lightning. I need a 500 mm f4 bad!

Ooooo, I love the composition of 1 and 3!!! And DOF in 3!!!
Well, some guys have all the luck, eh?
And an already very good telephoto lens! (As compared to mine!?!? For SURE!)
And a stable hand.
And the ability to focus fast and very right.
And lovely blue skies.
And patience.

I lack all those things.

Bugger, where are you hiding that horseshoe? Great captures. Peter and I tried our hand at these a few months ago and know how hard theya re to shoot. Well done.

Eric

AWESOME. i have now seen two contests that were won by guys shooting owls like these that turned right at them! so watch out for them dive-bombing you out there! (but when it happens be sure to get a few pics!)
