Side Lighting

Good day all:
Was away on a trip this weekend down south and took a couple of shots. Please feel free to C&C as I need all the help I can get.

The first one is nice. I'm not so sure about the second one though. But then again, thats just my opinion.

I love the lighting. If I had to critque these I'd say the blue dot in the bottom left of the first photo is a tiny bit distracting, and in the second one you should remove the tiny spider web on the top left part of the plant.

I really like these pictures, great job!

I didn't even notice the blue blotch in the bottom left I must have been in a rush to post the picture and it kinda looks like crap

And on second look, I am not sure I like the side lighting on that flower at all.

Will keep on shooting till I drop I guess.

Great examples of how wonderful the lighting is early morning or late evening!

would have used a low power fill flash for the 2nd one, and the blue thing is fine in the 1st one.
