Foothills and Rocky Mountians South West of Calgary

We went to a farmers market at Millarville which is about 30 minutes southwest of Calgary. On the way back to Calgary, we took a small country road and stopped to look west at the fields, foothills and Rocky Mountains. and of course take a few pictures.

My oh my, what a beautiful and peaceful sight! I do so like the look of hay bales drying in the sun. Beautiful clouds that day too. I like the fence in the first one (and how the fence 'ends' before the left lower corner of the shot) but find the highway on the right side detracts a bit (that's just my opinion). In the 5th shot you showed less of the highway on the right side, which I prefer, but I like the look of the fence better in, and the additional blue sky at the top of, the first shot (aren't I the picky one!) But don't get me wrong, I really like these photos and the colours. I also really like the fourth shot...nice lighting.
