i took up photography about 3 years ago, but it only lasted 2 years because i became a vegan and photographic film contains gelatine, so i gave up.
i just bought a nikon D70 about 2 months ago after a break of about a year, these are my favourite shots from when i used film:

hope you like, it's quite bad that in 2 years i only took 5 pictures that i really like, the 5th one being the seagull from my post last night, such is life hey.

thats my beloved lucy, she is dead now, bless her...she was the best looking guinea pig i have ever seen and her hair was so thick...i miss her

Yeah, this 1st one is great! I like its... *looks for appropriate word*... simplicity.

no kidding on the gelatine, the light sensitive silver halide crystals are syspended in it :-(
but never mind, cause digital is faster, cheaper and betterer ;-)

You're not the only one to feel that way. It's suprising how many people don't shoot film for the same reason.
