Sony SLT-A65V for video recording?

I am a Nikon user. Right now in the US Nikon D5500's are on special since a newer D5600 came out. They have HD video at up to 60 frames, can connect microphone. For the same price as the older Sony you could get a Nikon 5500 and 3 lenses for your $960 US amount you quoted earlier. If the D5500 is too much, next option would be D5300.
18-55 AF-s
55-200 AF-s VR
and 35mm f/1.8 AF-s

The 35mm would be close to your normal eyesight in terms of what it covers in the camera.

The D5300 with the 3 lenses comes to $1182 (with only the 55-200 being 2nd hand). So as you can see, prices here are something else.

Alternatively I've found these (2nd hand):
Nikon D3300 + 18-55mm VR + 55-200mm VR $459
Nikon D5100 + AF-S DX NIKKOR 35MM F/1.8 $614 (bunch of peripherals ups the price sadly)
Nikon D5200 + 18-55 mm AF-S DX $460
Nikon D5300 + Af- SDX 35mm. F 1.8 G $491

So, in theory we could get the D5200 since it already includes one of the lenses you mention. With the other two on top of it, it would in total be $1074. It's no 5300 or 5500, but I dont know if there are big differences. The D5300 has almost the same price, but I'm not sure about the lens? From what I can read its ideal for low-light situations.

You think any of these four are better choices over the A65?

edit: I should probably mention that we rarely worked with more than one lense back when I was working with a team. We usually just had an overall good lens that fit most needs. We barely used any special lenses for super zoom or something. So maybe a D5300 or a D5500 plus an overall good lens for most stuff is the way to go?

I would suggest from your list the D5300 and the 35mm lens. The 35mm lens. If that lens is too wide (about the same as your eyes). Then I would suggest picking up a 50mm f/1.8. In the US that's less than $200 new. If your not zooming in and out . Those 2 lenses would be good for product shots. Also if you do want a zoom. The 18-55 is not very much. Less than $200 here in US new.

D5300
Af- SDX 35mm. F 1.8 G
Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G AF-S
Nikon Nikkor 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX
= same price as the A65 with the 3 lenses.

So, the D5300-bundle will be a better choice for us? :)

Reason I've been leaning so much towards the A65 I guess is due to the lens Sal1650 that costs so much (so I figured it was something really good?). The new-price for the A65-bundle is like, double of what he sells it for, so I figured it was a really good find.

But yeah, if you can say the D5300-bundle is gonna be better than the Sony for our video recording, then that's what we'll do. Let me know! :)

Going by the specs I am looking up. I think the D5300 is a better camera for the price range and your availability. It will be much better in lower light conditions than the Sony.

Then I guess price isn't everything! Thank you very much for all the help, I will call the person selling the D5300 tomorrow and see if we can pick it up, then buy the other two lenses as new.
