I took some pictures with my digital camera and all the eyes in every picture has a spot. It seems like some kind of reflections. I like the pictures alot but is there anyway i can modify the pictures to remove the dots?
Cloning is the easiest way i have found. Just do it carefully and a little bit at a time if it's near the pupil.
Back in the old days we used to do it with paint.
I was surprised how much that teaches one. So here's a good tip.
Don't try to get all your color from one side of the spot. Go around it with little bits and work to the center. That works for anything you clone to make it almost invisible.
By the way painters paint those lights into the eyes to make the portrait look more real. Also paint in little glare spots that photographer go nuts trying to get rid of. I find that hilarious.
