So I finally broke down and bought the Spyder2 Express and it just arrived today. I figured, my monitor's default settings can't be that far off right? I was kidding myself. After installing the downloaded software (most recent version) and a bit of updating drivers and profiles I can't believe the difference it has made. Colors now look more vibrant and my prints that I had done at Ritz now look like what's on the monitor. To many here this may be old news, but to those that are holding out and wondering if they need to purchase this tool my advice is spend the roughly $60 for the express and see for yourself. Man, I'm glad I did.
