    Can you let me know if I am on the right lines with these? I definately need to practice and be a little more patient. These might be a little forced from less than top quality originals...

    I like #s 1 and 3. I think you're on the right track. Street photography isn't easy. Keep it up, you're on the way to having some real winners. :)

    i like your use of words from the road. very nice. i love your idea on number 1, but number two is my fave.

    #2 is awesome..excellent image, and then your eyes go right to the color.

    May I ask as a newbie, how did you left a specific color there on the photo (like the yellow stripes) and not converted to grayscale?

    The first and third are interesting! Number three looks like Queen Victoria Street near Blackfriars Station. To be honest, I don't get what you were trying to do with number two though!
