Thanks! The secret to great landscape shots isn't equipment, it's lighting direction, the time of day, and composition. i've created some (at least in my opinion) some decent landscape shots using my 80-200 telephoto lens, and i've seen some fantastic telephoto landscape photographs, in books and magazines, so it's just not for wide angle lenses.
