Sunbathing

    Ran into this fellow taking photos of boats at Westport, Wa. He is a lot bigger than the photo shows. I think the nose up means he was getting a bit unhappy with me being so close so I moved on.

    Wow. Amazing what animals some people get to see "in the wild", that I would only ever see either in a zoo or on TV! That is great ... and the way you captured him basking in the sun is also really great.

    (The only time I ever saw sea lions in their natural habitat was on Kangaroo Island off the Adelaide coast in Australia ... that was QUITE an experience for me!)
