Photos OK to edit
I am just beginning and I came up with this shot.

Shutter Speed 1/2500
Aperture f/8.0
ISO 50

It was only on ISO 50 and I had to clean up the noise on Neat Image. Maybe because of my point and shoot Canon A610.

What do you guys think?

Hmmm... This shot is really underexposed (forgive my spelling). If there is a way to change the shutter speed, I would slow it down to 1/500th or something close to that. I'm assumeing you are using film (either that or there is a digital camera that is capable of 50 ISO), and 50 ISO film is very unnoisy (i.e. grainy)... It would be your scanner that would be giving you the noise.

Hi Chris, welcome to ThePhotoForum.
The Canon Powershots go down to ISO 50, that is their lowest setting. (They're digital cameras, "other" Chris aka BoblyBill).
And ISO 50 should not give you any noise at all.
I have a Powershot A95 and don't get ANY noise at ISO 50.

This photo looks very, very underexposed and I wonder what made you go for 1/2500 sec ... ?
How much did you later need to work on the highlights in Photoshop or some other post processing software? Brightening an absolutely dark photo creates noise, too.
