I took this picture in Florida. What could I do better

Ok, well most of the issues with this picture you really couldn't fix. You've got a lot of distracting background elements here, the netting and the wire supports for it, etc.

Sadly this is one of the many issues you can run into shooting at zoos, waiting for a shot with a less cluttered background can be difficult at times.

The other option here would be to crop this much closer to eliminate most of the background, something else I find myself doing a lot when shooting at the zoo.

But all in all it's a good initial effort. Important thing is to keep shooting
