Trip to France. Possibly looking for a new lens.

I'm taking a trip to Paris over the holidays. I don't really know what to expect other than a ton of architecture photo ops. Probably a lot of street photography too, although not necessarily my normal work. I was thinking of a Canon 17mm TS, but I don't know if I really want to spend that kind of money on a lens I'm not sure I'll use a lot. I was also thinking of the 16-35 II, but I mostly have that covered.

Any suggestions on lenses (or shooting tips for Paris)?

Maybe I don't need anything right now, but my 7D has a problem with the pop up flash not popping up. I rarely use it, but need it for off camera flash firing. I will be dropping it off for repair, but I need my camera every day, so I need a new body before sending it off. I'm planing on waiting for a 5d m3 when it shows up, but then I'll need a wide angle that will work with a FF.
