Trying to sell a lens on craigslist and I think I'm being low-balled.

The bottom line is, if you want to sell it as the price you listed originally, you can ignore that person who want to buy the lens at $80.

Whether the price is too high or not. For me, $90 to $100 used I think is reasonable. Not a good deal or not a bad deal neither if condition is very good.

I am sure most of the people here do not value the kit lens, however, $100 is $100. The lens worth $100 and that is it's value. Someone may need to replace their broken one. So maybe a good deal for them.

Of course, if you need to sell it quick, I will at least try $90 and see what happen.

This person is just using a negotiation tactic to get a better deal. He is trying to take charge of the transaction. If you don't like the offer just offer back as you did, no thanks. Don't get bullies into a price you don't want. And maybe he's right it may not sell for your asking price, but unless your in dire straits for cash. Why not give it some time.
