Two sunsets

Hey so I'm pretty new to this so i decided to experiment with some sunset shots. Excuse the quality, my scanner isn't very great at all. There is also like a streak in each of these that look like maybe over exposure, but i'm not too sure what it is. Any comments good or bad are appreciated. thanks

Ya the original is alottt less blurry. Like I said my scanner is pretty bad and i blew it up a little so i think that made it a little blurry too.

Oh, well good job anyway! If you can get a better scan you should put it up here and let us all see. I think the picture is great.

Well i have a digital but it is just a really inexpensive point and shoot. I'm trying to learn how to use a slr camera and then my goal is, that is if I stick with photography and i end up loving it, to buy a dslr by the end of summer.

I hope the originals are better. Compositionally they seem fine but I can't really say much else..
