I took these from the Brooklyn Promenade, which overlooks the East River toward Manhattan.

And then took this one in Dumbo on the way to the subway, it's the Brooklyn Bridge.

#3 is great. The mood is just right, and the people moving through the city adds extra dimensionality. It transports me back into the time when parts of bk were a lot less hipster than they are now.

#2 and #4 are by far my favs, very well done.

Thanks!

When I started setting up this shot, the walkway had been relatively empty. It was only when I was just about ready that all those people started walking by. I was discouraged for a moment, but decided to try and take advantage of the situation.

I've never spent much time in Brooklyn, but my impression from my recent trips is that it's very "hip".
