I am looking to upgrade my lens currently i got 85-300 Canon but I am not happy with it.

Camera: Rebel XTi

I am looking to upgrade to a better lens

Now I can't find a best place to buy and what lens to buy I live in Canada

I wanna get a better lens for sharper pictures take pictures of wiled life from the distance.

Also I am wondering what would be suggested as far as FLASH goes and a wide angle lens for shooting outdoor portraits of mountains and so on//

Are you going to get some kind of adapter for the F-Mount on the Nikkor, because your Canon only accepts Canon's EF and EF-S mount lenses.

I use the Canon 100-400 and I think it's superb. I can easily handhold it at 400 and get crisp results. A friend has just bought the Nikkor 80-400 and seems to be getting good results from it. We'll compare notes in a week or two.

I have the Sigma 80-400, it really gets the job done. I believe they make this for both Canon and Nikon. I find my sigma as a cheaper option than the other too, without sacrificing much quality. (go to www.gallery.rkw3.com and look at the zoo pics for photos taken with the sigma I'm talking about)
